While individual experience may differ, here are the basic steps you should follow and what you can expect throughout the application process:
Step 1: Complete the DS-160 Online Application
Step 2: Pay the Application Fee
Step 3: Schedule Your Appointment(s) through the Appointment Center
Step 4: Appear at the ASC to have photo and fingerprints taken
Step 5: Appear at Consulate for interview
Step 6: Go to local DHL Office to pick up passport and visa
