In adherence to Mission Mexico standards for pre-employment English testing, effective immediately, the Consulate will only accept internationally-recognized TOEIC and TOEFL test results. The Results of these tests are valid for 2 years. The Cost of taking the tests is the applicant's responsibility. Non-native English speakers should attach to their application their score certificate in order to be considered for vacant positions requiring English language skills.

U.S. citizens wishing to apply for the positions advertised on this website must legally reside in Mexico.
Locally resident American Citizens who are not Eligible Family Members must have the necessary work permits (FM-2 OR FM-3) and at least six months residency in Mexico.
