TN/TD Visas (for Mexican professionals under the NAFTA)
Requirements:
Mexican Passport (minimum 6 month validity)
A Banamex receipt for $131 U.S. (at current exchange rate) application fee per person regardless of age.
Completed (DS-156) form. Male applicants between the ages of 16 and 45 must also complete the supplimentary (DS-157)form.
Original letter and/or job contract from your employer indicating the type of work you will be performing in the United States. The job must be of a professional nature. (more information here)
Dependents must show original documents that evidence spousal or parent-child relationship to the principal TN visa holder, such as marriage and/or birth certificates, or any other document which proves the relationship to the principal applicant.” Dependents” refers to a spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21.
